  Francesca Marcaccio Hitzeman

Francesca Marcaccio Hitzeman is an Italian artist, writer and curator based in Hong Kong.
After she was awarded a bursary for the Iconographic Research from the CPF Bauer Institute in Milan, she collaborated with several editorial projects such as Dust Magazine, MyTemplArt and only recently, joined the ARCHIVIO Magazine team. Having worked in both exhibition departments at the Whitechapel Gallery in London and at the ICP in New York, she has a solid understanding of photography from commercial and publishing standpoints, as well as the curatorial. She holds a degree in Contemporary Art History and a Masters in Fine Art Photography from London College of Communication. Francesca received a bursary for the Royal College of Arts Curating Programme and she has undertaken several projects including the Base/Project for the Arts and Aalto Project a curatorial collective. She regularly contributes to magazines, journals and artist catalogues, and she actively collaborates with the NYC Creative Salon since November 2016.
